The Great Exchange
Salvation though Jesus Christ
I am exchanging:
ü my guilt for His forgiveness.
ü my sin for His righteousness.
ü my sin nature for His holy nature.
ü my ways for His higher ways.
ü my thoughts for His higher thoughts.
ü my selfishness for His giving.
ü my will for His will.
ü my hate for His love.
ü my past for His future.
ü my resentments for His peace.
ü my sickness for His healing.
ü my poverty for His riches.
ü my sadness for His joy.
ü my fears for faith in Him.
ü my worries for trust in Him.
ü curses for blessings.
ü death for life.
ü the penalty for my sins for Christ’s sacrifice.
ü a life without direction for guidance by the Holy Spirit.
ü duty of obedience for delight in His word.
ü absence of God in my life for his presence in my life.
Knowing God - changed my life, and it can change yours too. The Bible says if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ repent of your sins, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you will be saved. (Romans 10:9)
When you accept Jesus as your Savior, God takes out your sin, and then covers you with the righteousness of Jesus. If you have never accepted Him and received the gift of eternal life, then pray to God, our Heavenly Father, now. Ask Jesus to come live in your heart. You can use the following prayer as an example.
“Father, I pray to you in the name of Jesus. My sin has offended you. I am guilty of sinning against you. Father, I apologize to you and ask you to forgive me. Thank you for the blood that Jesus Christ shed to cleanse me from my sin. Lord Jesus, come into my life. I receive you into my life right now. I ask you to break the power of sin and reverse every curse. Change my nature and change me into the person you want me to be. I ask you to heal me, in the name of Jesus. I surrender to you and submit to the teachings of the Bible. I ask you to take me out of the kingdom of darkness and put me into your kingdom of light. Now, I know I am saved. I know I am forgiven. Father, I thank you for hearing my prayer and for accepting me. I thank you Lord Jesus for coming into my life. Thank you for loving me and forgiving me. Amen.”
Now let me pray for you:
“Father, you’ve heard this prayer and I know you heard from heaven. And now Father, in Jesus name, I know you will break every curse and forgive all their sins. You’ll blot them out so they won’t have any sins left. You are going to bring them into your family. Father I ask you to begin to bless them now, bringing joy and richness and all your promises into their life. Heal their bodies and the deep wounds in their hearts. Thank you for giving them a new nature, Christ’s nature. Thank you that they are now in your family because your Son is in their life. Thank you that they no longer want to seek after sinfulness but they want holiness, blessings, rejoicing, anointing, and all your promises. Amen.”
